Dr. Luce was born and raised in Manatee county, leaving briefly for the Carolina’s in the 1990’s. Prior to entering into the healthcare field, she worked for one of the top area employers and traveled extensively, recruiting for talent all over the United States. During this time, she completed dual Healthcare Management and Nursing curriculums. She went on to finish her Baccalaureate degree in nursing, with honors, receiving multiple awards and scholarships for her academic pursuits. She then completed her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice with Florida State University with research interests in family medicine, health care accessibility, vaccinomics, balance management, and fall prevention.
Dr. Luce is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner through the AANP and ANCC accrediting bodies and is licensed through the Florida Board of Nursing. Dr. Luce is also actively involved in several practice-specific professional organizations – the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, the Manatee Area Council of Advanced Nursing Practice and Sarasota County Nurse Practitioners.
Areas of expertise include the diagnosis and management of otolaryngic allergy presentations, immunotherapy, balance disorders, ear and sinus health.
When Dr. Luce is not caring for our valued clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, church family and friends, medical missions (both locally and abroad), community outreach, serving as faculty member for Florida State University and traveling.
