Fran Lowry, M.S., CCC-SLP, brings many years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and over 25 years of that, specializing in the treatment of disorders of the larynx.  She provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment in the areas of voice disorders, laryngectomy, Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (Vocal Cord Dysfunction), chronic cough, throat clearing, and aerophagia, as well as the misused professional voice.

 

Fran has an extensive professional history, presenting workshops, lectures, and mentoring in these specialty areas.  She taught graduate courses in Voice and Laryngectomy at the University of Northern Colorado, in addition to presenting lectures and workshops nationally.  Fran has developed cutting-edge therapy protocols for patients who have the above hyper-reactive larynx problems.

 

Fran is a Life Member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Colorado Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and SERTOMA.  She held Adjunct Professor status at the Universities of Colorado, Denver, Northern Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado State University. She served as President of the Colorado Association for two years and received the Honors of the Association on two separate occasions.  She has also been a member of the Florida Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
